Matthew Jones — Director, Writer
Currently a 20-year-old college junior, Matthew Jones first explored his passion for film at the University of Southern California in the summer of 2003 after his sophomore year in high school. Jones completed his latest short film, Be the Man, in June 2006. The film recently was awarded best African-American student film by the Directors Guild of America and is screening at festivals across the country. At present, Jones attends Biola University in La Mirada, CA where he is studying film production. At Biola, he is also in the Torrey Honors Institute. His passion is to become a professional director and writer crafting films that affect people.
 

  Nick Patapoff III — Producer
Nick Patapoff III is a senior at Biola University. Nick has enjoyed working as a cinematographer, gaffer, editor, and producer. These varied experiences have lead him to producing, where he has enjoyed interacting with every person of the crew. This is his third project working with Matthew, and is excited to be his producer. Nick hopes to be involved someday with upper-level management of a major production studio.

Joshua Sikora — Executive Producer, Writer
A young filmmaker & businessman, Joshua Sikora has produced, written, & directed a number of award-winning independent films. Committed to high-quality, low-budget filmmaking, Sikora has a passion for the freedom and creativity that independent cinema offers. In 2005, he founded the Sikora Media Group and New Renaissance Pictures, which are breaking new ground in the creation and delivery of the next generation of multimedia. Sikora also teaches film for the Torrey Honors Institute at Biola University. He lives in La Habra, CA with his wife Alisa.
 

  Peter Borrud — Cinematographer
Peter Borrud is a senior at Biola University. Having collaborated before with Matthew Jones, Peter will be the cinematographer for Choices, shooting on 35mm film. In high school, Peter directed several projects, which made him realize his interest in cinematography and that he could tell powerful stories through the images. Since Peter enrolled in Biola, he has shot over 15 projects and worked on many others. Peter hopes to continue shooting films and eventually move up to features, but he also wants to work under other cinematographers to learn his craft better.
