about the film
Preparing to end her unplanned pregnancy, 17-year-old Angela looks back at the choices in her life that have brought her to this point. Choices is a revealing look at today's high-schoolers and the challenging decisions they face.New Renaissance Pictures proudly presents Choices, the latest film from award-winning director Matthew Jones. Following the success of his other youth-oriented shorts, Jones once again focuses on the challenges that today's teenagers face everyday. In Choices, Jones tackles the difficult issues of teen pregnancy and abortion. Pulling from real-life stories from young people, Jones and co-writer Joshua Sikora have crafted a truly thought-provoking story that challenges us to re-consider the choices we often make.
Production is headed up by Nick Patapoff III, the film's producer. He's joined by cinematographer Peter Borrud and first assistant director Sydney Alford, reprising their roles from Jones' previous film Be the Man. Choices will go into production in March 2007.
